JOHN LENNON INDEX, RESEARCH, & INTERVIEW
Some of the demos listed on the song list are the embryos of other John Lennon songs. For example, 'My Life' was transformed into 'Don't Be Crazy', and then into 'The Worst Is Over', before finally becoming '( Just Like ) Starting Over'.
Similarly, 'Watching The Wheels' was developed in early 1978 from a demo called 'Emotional Wreck', then transformed into 'People Say I'm Crazy', and finally blended with another demo called 'Watching The Flowers Grow'.
John Lennon also wrote songs for other artists throughout his solo career, most notably, Ringo Starr. He also co-wrote songs with David Bowie, Phil Spector, Frank Zappa, Harry Nilsson and Roy Cicala, as well as with Yoko Ono.

John Lennon's very own breakdown of every Lennon and McCartney song, with Mike Hennessey in 1971
In August 1971, John Lennon was interviewed by Mike Hennessey from Record Mirror in order to promote his newly released album, 'Imagine'. In addition he also went through most of the Beatles songbook, and identified the main writer of each song. This John Lennon interview has rarely been heard and is now out of print. The interview was last published in the 2000 winter edition of Mojo magazine, titled the John Lennon Special Edition.
This is an edited list from that rare John Lennon interview:
